Jordan| Walls collapsed and water levels rose as a result of the depression this morning
Weather of Arabia - With continuous warnings before Jordan began to be affected by the third-degree depression on Saturday, several municipalities in Jordan’s governorates dealt with cases, most notably rising water levels, and the formation of water spots in several areas.
In this context, the Balqa Governorate dealt with the fall of a lighting pole that was removed from the middle of the street, while walls collapsed in Souf in the Abu Ruwais neighborhood, and on Al-Burj Road in the Jerash Municipality.
In another context, municipal cadres monitored and inspected manholes, culverts, and flood channels, in addition to opening closed roads, while Madaba Governorate in the Dhiban District faced torrential torrential rains as a result of heavy rains, which led to the erosion of soil and gravel on the Dhiban-Mujib Road linking Karak and Madia.
The Public Security Directorate warned drivers heading towards Karak via the positive road; Due to the possibility of soil collapses and falling stones as a result of heavy rains, Public Security Radio indicated that the competent authorities at the site are working to reopen the road as soon as possible, and called on everyone to adhere to safety instructions.
